8/21/17 – 2/17/18 Jack Lynn Logan was born at Jackson City Hospital on Tuesday, August 21, 1917. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the age of 100. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen, after 61 years of marriage, a son Jack Lynn Logan Jr. and grandson Eric Miller; He is survived by four daughters, Jacquelyn Lehman, Marianna (Robert) Snider both of Michigan Center, Nancy Seydell of Parma and Nyanne Miller of Jackson; grandchildren, Bret Lehman, Steven Seydell, David Seydell, Jerrad Miller, Dana Snider and Jana Snider; and many great and great-great grandchildren. Jack worked 40 years at Clark Equipment, at facilities in Jackson, MI, Rockingham and Statesville, North Carolina. After retiring in 1980 he and Helen spent their winters at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Avon Park, Florida. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, where Sunday dinners were a must. His Sunday phone calls asking “What are we doing today?” are already missed. His love for fishing began as a young boy, hitchhiking to his favorite watering holes. However it was hunting that he continued throughout his life until recent years. This included waterfowl, big and small game of all species with a special love for white tail deer hunting. In recent years his hobbies included carving, building model airplanes and flying drones. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Michigan Center Lions Club.
