Age 71, of Cement City, passed away at his home February 26, 2018. He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Helene P. (Atherton) Rhoads, two daughters, Nicole (James) Smith, granddaughter arriving soon and Tracy (Todd) Rhoads, granddaughter, Rylie Raehtz, two sisters, Leslie Rhoads and Joann Bostwick, brother, Larry (Brenda) Rhoads, nephew Wesley (Christina) Rhoads, and several more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Rosemary Rhoads. Paul proudly served in the US Air Force and was veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired after a career with US Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and loved his dachshunds. He was a member of the American Legion Wilber-Bartlett Post #315 Brooklyn, Michigan. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at St. Aidan’s Church (361 East Grove, Michigan Center) on Saturday, March 3rd at 2:00 with Rev. Larry Rubingh officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time. He will be interred with Full Military Honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
