Age 67, of Leoni Township, passed away January 22, 2018 at Henry Ford Allegiance. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary (Ambs) Haskell, three children, Beth (Ron) Rottler, Lisa (Chris) Martin and Brian (Heather) Haskell, grandchildren, Austin Rottler, Alyssa (Cody) Wojahn, Mackenzie and Macaulay Martin, Sienna and Sean Haskell and Selena Mix, great granddaughter, Raelynn Wojahn, special sisters-in-law, Connie Haskell, Chris Haskell, and Kim K. Ambs, special brother-in-law, Henry Ambs III, brothers-in-law, Harry Ambs, Herbert (Sharon) Ambs, Howard (Joanne) Ambs, Harvey (Theresa) Ambs, Kevin (Deb) Ambs and Christopher Ambs, Father-in-law, Henry (Lorraine) Ambs Jr., mother-in-law, Marilyn Palmer, many nieces and nephews, special home nurses from Great Lakes Caring, Brenda Owen, Sherilyn Schmude and Travis Bonnici. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Geraldine (Jonas) Haskell, brothers, Carl and wife Geri, Gary and Steven Haskell and brother-in-law, Harold Ambs and his faithful feline companion of many years, Sammy. A graduate of Jackson High School Class of 1968 he worked his career as a Tool and Die Maker at A & W Tool and Die, Clark Equipment, ITT Hancock and Industrial Wire EDM. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who had a woodworking talent and crafted beautiful furniture, enjoyed golf, working in his yard and he treasured times spent camping with his family. Mr. Haskell has been cremated and no services will be held.
