Age 73, of Napoleon Township, passed away peacefully September 5, 2019 with his loving family by his side and under the care of the wonderful, loving caregivers at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. Dennis was born July 13, 1946 in Jackson, Michigan to Matt and Laura Seppi. Dennis was avid tinkerer, man of many trades and lover of all things outdoors. Dennis is survived by his wife Kathy of 54 years; daughter, Kelly (Craig) Boardman; son, Michael Seppi; granddaughter, Lindsay (Cody) Rochefort and great-grandson, Carson Lee Rochefort; bonus grandchildren, Kara (Scott) Miilu and Thomas Boardman; sisters-in-law, Pat Toms and Bet Boey; a host of nieces, nephews and a special cousin and his partner in crime, Don Rhodes and family. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Margaret (Chester) Powaga; brother, Ron Seppi; in-laws, George and Ruth Thomas; brothers –in-law, Donald Toms and Michael Boey. Dennis had nicknames for everyone, rather it be at work or his loved ones, the favorite being Michael Myers AKA Oscar Myer. Dennis worked at Clark Equipment and later worked skilled trades and became a journeyman glazier. Dennis retired in 2008, after which he spent much of his time traveling with the favorite destination being Mackinac Island. He loved spending time with his family especially his “sweety”, granddaughter Lindsay and more recently great-grandson. Dennis will be missed for his marvelous inventions and his ability to fix anything. The family will welcome guests at Arthur-Day Funeral Home in Michigan Center on September 11, 2019. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:30 with a celebration of life starting immediately after with hospice chaplain Bart Hall officiating. Dennis will be missed by many, but one thing is for sure… he is still yellin’ Go Blue!
