Donald Paul Seburg

December 23, 1925 ~ March 23, 2018 (age 92)

Age 92, of Napoleon Township, went into the arms of Jesus March 23, 2018, surrounded by his loving family and under the care of the staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Barbara J., four children, Carol Seburg, Dena-Jo Weese, Lori Seburg and Scott (Donna) Seburg, step children, Cheryl Irvine and Sue (Daryl) Hatt, grandchildren, Donald (Angelique) Seburg III, Ronald Terry, Ronald (Judy) Hemminger, Amanda Hemminger, Teija Jaquish, Shauna (Steve) Jaquish, Chelsey (Jonathon) Moody, Kristopher (Crystle) Weese, Kristen (Trent) Seburg, Billie (Debbie) Irvine, Shanna Pelham, Ryan (Ashley Hill) Irvine and numerous great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Donald in Vietnam and Michael; step-son, Michael Arnett, brother-in-law, Albert Young,  his mother, Viola and Myrl (Jack) Card, son-in-law Eric Pelham and grandson Donald Terry.  He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan December 16, 1925.  Don was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict as a tank gunner.  He retired from Kroger in 1990 after 47 years in the meat cutting industry.  He loved everything about life especially his family, which meant the world to him.  He was a member of Grace Church and a Life Member of the Napoleon Lodge #301 Free and Accepted Masons.   Don enjoyed woodworking and golf.  Services will be held at St. Aidan’s Church (361 E. Grove, Michigan Center) on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11 am with Pastor Drew Woods., Cement City Baptist Church officiating.  Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday 5-8 pm and on Thursday one hour prior to service time. Military Honors will be rendered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team,  For those who wish, contributions in Don’s memory are directed to the Disabled American Veterans PO BOX 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250
