Age 71, of Napoleon Township. His sunrise was Wednesday, September 17, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky and his sunset was Saturday, November 24, 2018, peacefully and with composure at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in the arms of his loving family. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 31 years, Noelia ‘Dannie’ (Moralez) Snyder, eight children, Deborah (Ron) Nelson, Robert Nelson, Brenda (Thomas) Bell, Phyllis (Scott) Jew, B.J., C.J., Dawn and Michelle Snyder, two grandchildren; Janazhia Jew and Chad Nelson and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Snyder and his mother Alma Smoke. Homer graduated from Onsted High School, served the nation in the US Army, owned and operated Snyder’s Concrete for many years. He enjoyed fishing and travelling, especially up to Mackinaw. He had a loving family and a host of friends. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 1 pm with Chaplain Bart Hall (Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice) officiating. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday morning from 11 am until service time. Cemetery Military Honors will be offered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Contributions in Homer’s memory are directed to this family to assist in defraying final expenses.
