Obituary

Age 78, of Jackson, passed away March 29, 2019 at Henry Ford Allegiance.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years; Barbara Jean (maiden-Shay) Nelson, two daughters; Wanda (Don) Freeze and Connie (Buddy) Strine, grandchildren;Michelle (Andy) Barber, Jennifer (Ryan) Plank, Jeff and Alan Terrell, Shelby and Kourtnie Strine, four great-grandsons; Mason and Colt Barber, Ryan Jr. and Luke Plank, great-granddaughter; Rylie Plank, brother; Dan (Julaine) Hodson and his beloved and devoted dog; Paisley.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly in 2003 and his mom and father; Leonard and Florence (maiden-Wiggins) Hodson.  He served the nation in US Air Force (Vietnam Era), retired after a career as a Semi Truck Driver.  He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and casino visits.  

Age 78, of Jackson, passed away March 29, 2019.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Jean (Shay) Nelson; two daughters, Wanda (Don) Freeze and Connie (Buddy) Strine; grandchildren, Michelle (Andy) Barber, Jennifer (Ryan) Plank, Jeff and Alan Terrell, Shelby and Kourtnie Strine; four great-grandsons, Mason and Colt Barber, Ryan Jr. and Luke Plank; great-granddaughter, Rylie Lamb; brother, Dan (Julaine) Hodson and his beloved and devoted dog, Paisley.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly in 2003 and his mom and father, Leonard and Florence (Wiggins) Hodson.  He served the nation in US Air Force (Vietnam Era), retired after a career as a semi truck driver.  He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and casino visits.  

Kenny will be laid to rest on Saturday, April 27th at 2:00 pm at the Maxon Cemetery on Seymour Rd., just east from Hawkins Rd.  His family would love to have you come and be a part of the ceremony.
