Scott Dallas Robinson passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 2nd 2019. Scott was born December 17th, 1958 in Pontiac, MI to Robert Bruce Smiley and Helen Joy Ann Smiley. Scott Robinson graduated from Hanover-Horton in 1977, where he enjoyed playing basketball and football with his many friends. Scott later joined the Army, around 1985 as a heavy equipment mechanic and was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was honorably discharged with ranking E-4 Specialist, Robinson, Scott D. After the Army he was the owner and operator of SDR Construction; however his true passion was always music. Most people knew him as the “One Man Band - One Trick Pony”, there was nothing he liked better than great music, familiar company, excellent smoke, laughter and a good cold drink. Scott was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Britt Weedon. He will be dearly missed by his brothers and sisters, Garth Howard Weedon, Dawn Shree Gratz, Shannon Joy Robinson and Blake Frances Robinson. He will also be missed by his step-sisters and step-brothers, as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life gathering, on Saturday April 20th, 2019. This will be an all day event starting at 10:00 am until late in the evening. The gathering will take place at 12900 Round Lake Rd. Horton, MI 49246. Military honors will be at 11:00 am sharp. There will be an Easter egg hunt for the kids at 2:00 pm. Come join the family and celebrate the life of our gentle giant Scott Dallas Robinson. We are asking that you bring folding chairs and a passing dish. If you choose to stay the night, please bring a tent to pop up. For those that are musically inclined you are welcome to bring your instrument and talent. Looking forward to sharing our memories.
