Age 52, of Leoni Township, passed away at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home on December 1, 2019 surrounded by his loving family, after a year-long battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his parents, Eldon and Judy (maiden-Carlson) Strunk; two sisters, Stephanie McCourtie of Grass Lake and Stacy (Michael) Kimball of North Dakota; nieces, Page McCourtie, Jessica Robison, Hailey Robison; nephews, Brent McCourtie and Dakota Kimball; great-nieces, Chevie Trepka, Alexis Bosco and Elaine Kimball; great-nephew, R J Keller; and uncle, Richard (Connie) Strunk. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Mary Strunk, Elmer and Letha Carlson; aunt and uncle, Chester and Viola Thayer. Scott graduated from Michigan Center High School Class of 1985. He served the nation in the US Army, then worked at TAC for 26 years. He was a staunch fan of the University of Michigan and NASCAR. He enjoyed playing golf and poker with his buddies, trips to casinos and Las Vegas and twice a year chauffeured his parents to and from Florida and enjoyed his time there.
