Age 26, of Jackson, MI, formerly of Ann Arbor, MI and Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021, the result of a car accident. Daniel will be forever remembered as a treasured son, brother, uncle, best friend, nephew, grandson, cousin, friend and co-worker.
Daniel was born December 2, 1994 in Camden, New Jersey, the son of Michael and Bonnie (Countryman) Campbell. He was a 2013 graduate of Cinnaminson High School and then went on to earn a Bachelors of Science with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Rowan University in 2017. After graduation, he moved to Ann Arbor and then to Jackson, Michigan working for Tenneco as an Engineer.
Daniel is survived by his beloved and loving family; parents, Michael and Bonnie; six siblings, Timothy Campbell, Veronica Campbell, Bernadette (Matthew) Connor, Joseph (Maureen) Campbell, Nicolas (Rozanna) Campbell and Teresa (Max) Johnson; two nephews, Nathan and Henry Connor; grandmother, Margaret Campbell; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Jerry Campbell and grandparents, Edward and Rose Countryman.
Daniel is a man whose light shines so brightly on earth. A calm, pleasant, beautiful baby grew into a curious, inventive child and loving young man. Throughout his life he had many talents, hobbies, and activities he enjoyed. Daniel was a gifted mechanic, fisherman, go-kart racer, and motorcyclist. As a natural athlete with a competitive spirit he played tennis, soccer, hockey, basketball and bowling. His travels took him across the country by car seeing many of the US National Parks and Sixers games. With friends and family he enjoyed attending concerts, outdoor adventures, and making pies. He attended GeoPalooza as a proud GeoMetro Collector. Daniel’s brilliance showed in his witty conversation. As a protective brother, he spent much of his young life dedicated to being a role model, mentor, and confidant. He committed his time and valuable energy to people, adventures, and things important to him. Daniel’s bright smile and unique laugh will echo in the hearts of so many.
There are many words to describe Daniel: loving, generous, humble, genuine, thoughtful, compassionate, spiritual, joyful, enthusiastic, motivating, gentle, strong, determined, confident, unique, funny, light-hearted, understanding, respectful, protective, decisive, handy, beautiful, witty, classic, loyal and adventurous. Daniel loved without reservation and is deeply loved by all who knew him. His impact as a loving, generous, humble, and genuine person continues to brighten our world.
In place of flowers Daniel can be remembered through donations towards Habitat for Humanity or National Safe Haven Alliance to continue with Daniel’s wishes of helping those in need and protecting children and babies.
A devout Catholic, a Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Riverton New Jersey on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 4pm to honor Daniel’s life. Visitation greeting will be held on Church grounds from 1-4pm, all are welcome to participate.
