Martin "Marty" Edward Keyser

Obituary

Age 57, of Napoleon Township, passed away at his home Monday, May 9, 2022, surrounded by his loving family and under the medical care of Henry Ford Home Hospice.  Marty was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Thursday, July 23, 1964, to the late Thomas E. and Dolores (Kleckner) Keyser.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years; Amanda J. (Kraemer) Keyser, two children; son Jesse and daughter Skylene Keyser, six grandchildren, siblings; Craig (Louise) Keyser and Brenda Keyser, step-siblings; Joe (Dawnene) Higgins, Janice Duffy, Kathy Pedersen, Dee (Jon) Tullis and Maggie Yamnitsky, many nieces and nephews and step-mother; Jeannetta Keyser.  He had lovingly raised as his own niece; Artesia Kraemer who has passed away and a nephew; Bryson Kraemer who survives and the many lost souls he’s helped throughout his life. Marty worked in the DPW at Leoni Township for many years and at All American for Lester Brothers in Grass Lake.  He was a hard-working man who could build anything. He loved to play horseshoes, soccer, baseball, and softball.  He served the Nation in the US Air Force (Air National Guard). Mr. Keyser has been cremated.  The family will have a Celebration of this very special man’s life at their home; 3434 Hart Rd. Jackson, MI on May 28th from 3 pm to 10 pm.  The family wishes to thank Henry Ford Home Hospice for their compassionate care.   Contributions in his memory are directed to the family.
