Sharon Sue (Yeider) Spangler

May 18, 1953 ~ December 18, 2021 (age 68)


 Age 68, of Spring Arbor Township, passed away at her home Saturday, December 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. She was born Monday, May 18, 1953 to the late Gerald Garth and Ida Jeanine Yeider. Sharon is survived by her husband of 51 years; Richard L. Spangler Sr., six children; Dawn (Scott) Gemmel, Richard Spangler Jr., Vicki (Donnie) McNally, Tammy (Frank) Griswold, Lori (Scott) Sibson and Christina (Joe) Garrett, 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister; Nancy Davis, brothers; Gerald, William (Barb), and Douglas (Kolette) Yeider.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and most importantly- spending time with her family.  She was famous for her pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pies, and pumpkin rolls. She was also known for her lengthy conversations, hot chocolate, and always sending you home with a full belly.  At her request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Encounter Church on Robinson Rd. The Spangler family wishes to thank Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice and ask any memorial contributions be directed there.
