Age 61, of Michigan Center, passed away at home Friday June 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family and under the medical supervision of SouthernCare Hospice. Tim was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 11, 1961 to Daniel Lee Cole and the late Nancy Jo (Kurfess) Cole. He is survived by his son, Jay R. Cole and his wife Jillayne; daughter, Theresa (Alberto Garcia) Cole; grandchildren, Laylah and Penelope Garcia and Reese Cole; his father, Daniel Lee Cole; siblings, Tamara (Mark) Brown, Terralyn (Ron) Brown, Ted (LeWanda) Cole, Tracy (Kip) France and Trina (Wayne) Morrissey; several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his wife, Christine in 1999; and his mothers, Nancy Jo and E. Kay Cole. A 1980 graduate of Michigan Center High School, he went on to work at ADCO products in Michigan Center for many years. He later worked at the Olive Garden and Bob Evans Restaurants. He was an avid fan of the University of Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Lions, but had an enduring interest in all sports. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his life will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11 am with Pastor Larry Rubingh officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening 5-8 pm. The family wishes to acknowledge the compassion and professional care given by SouthernCare Hospice. Contributions in Tim’s memory are directed to the American Cancer Society.
